What if I have a conflict on my tryout date?

What age group do I try out for?

Sign up for the age your daughter will be turning between July 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027. For example: a player who is 12 now but turns 13 on March 4, 2027 would try out for the 13s age group. We accept players ages 12–17. If you are unsure, email us at [email protected].

How much is the tryout fee?

The tryout fee is $50 per player and includes an Aurora tryout t-shirt. Payment can be completed online at auroravb.com or by cash or check at the time of tryouts.

How much are the club fees?

The total club fee for the season is $2,500 if paid by cash or check. We offer the following payment options:

Pay in Full (Cash/Check): $2,500

Pay in Full Online: $2,560 (includes processing fee)

Payment Plan: $450 deposit + 8 monthly payments of $264

⚠ Please note: Uniform packages are NOT included in club fees and will be purchased separately.

Financial assistance is available. We never want cost to be the reason an athlete doesn't play. Aurora offers confidential, need-based financial assistance to families who qualify. If cost is a concern, reach out privately to Lori Beau, Executive Director, at [email protected] — no family's situation is ever shared with coaches or teammates.

When do payments begin?

Deposit and payment timing will be shared with your offer.

What should my daughter bring to tryouts?

Please come prepared with practice clothes, indoor volleyball shoes, knee pads, elbow pads, a water bottle, and a great attitude! Plan to arrive 15–30 minutes early. An Aurora Director will be there to sign your daughter in and hand out her tryout shirt and number. Parents are more than welcome to stay and watch!

Will you be forming multiple teams?

We will be forming multiple teams for the 2026–2027 season based on athlete interest and skill level. Age groups and team counts will be determined following tryouts. Stay tuned to auroravb.com for updates!

How do I register for tryouts?

Registration is done entirely online. Visit auroravb.com/tryout-signup to complete your registration form and pay your tryout fee. Once both are submitted, your registration is complete!

Do you have a referral program?

Yes! We love when families and friends spread the word about Aurora Volleyball Club. Have the person you referred enter your name in the Referred by field on the tryout registration form. Your reward depends on how you're connected to the club:

Trying out (not yet on a team): your tryout fee is refunded.

Current player or parent of a current player: your choice of a $50 club fee credit or a $25 Visa gift card.

Club supporter (not trying out and not a current player or parent): a $25 Visa gift card.

Rewards are earned once the referred player registers and pays, and are issued after tryouts.
